Prior to beginning any physical therapy, your physical therapy benefits will be verified by our office staff to ensure the most accurate and up to date information regarding your specific plan. This information will be reviewed with you prior to beginning your physical therapy.
What to Expect
Our staff is here to make the process of physical therapy as easy as possible for you from your first call until you complete your therapy.
Our Office Staff will first assist you with:
- Collecting all necessary personal and insurance company information
- Verification of insurance and physical therapy benefits
- Provide forms that can be completed prior to your initial evaluation to minimize waiting time and for future authorization
- Scheduling your initial evaluation and all necessary future appointments
- Obtaining and providing receipts for copayments, coinsurance payments, and/or supplies
- Answer or direct you to the proper person for questions regarding you insurance, appointments, scheduling, or billing
Our Physical Therapists will:
- Complete a thorough examination at the time of your initial evaluation to determine a treatment plan that is specifically designed for you to allow for the most efficient and effective recovery.
- Answer any questions you have regarding your condition or what will happen during your physical therapy sessions
- Determine how often and for how long you will need to be seen in order to restore you back to your ideal level of function
- Explain the various treatment options and the progression that will occur during your course of physical therapy
- Provide you with a home exercise program that will greatly increase your recovery time
- Provide reports to your referring physician and primary care physician (if desired) and communicate with your physicians as needed
- Complete necessary paperwork for authorization from your insurance company as needed
Our Support Staff will be readily available to you during the course of your physical therapy sessions to:
- Assist in getting you set-up to begin your treatments
- Guide you through your therapeutic exercises
- Maximize your efficiency while going through your daily treatment
- Answer questions regarding the treatment plan your physical therapist has designed for the day
- Ensure the cleanliness of the office
- Assist in the coordination of all future appointments

Our office staff can instruct you in the forms that need to be completed at each step along the course of physical therapy. This will help to ensure you are seen timely and never have to waste your time filling out paperwork in the waiting area.
